Damn I Love Writing
As I have mentioned in the previous article that Bali definitely offers so many exquisite nightlife hotspots particularly along Seminyak road. It’s not a folk tale but is obviously factual. Before traveling to Bali, I honestly did a small research on the Internet to find out the most beautiful nightlife hotspots in Bali and my eyes were directed to one of the craziest and most magical clubs namely La Favela. I personally called it the hidden paradise.

La Favela is located in the heart of Seminyak, Bali, Indonesia. According to The Bali Bible that La Favela started opening its doors in the middle of 2013 and was the realisation of creative and brilliant ideas by a married couple; Gonzalo and Sandra Assiego. Moreover, based on its schedule, La Favela approximately started opening at 5 p.m. to 3. a.m.. In this article, I would like to share my incredible experiences visiting La Favela from the start.

First, I highly suggest you to come to this club earlier before 11 p.m. or you will be stuck in a long queue. Furthermore, before going inside, I got security-check; it was super strict. They asked and checked my identity card. Importantly, they don't allow you to come inside if you wear flip flops, singlets or scruffy clothing. Please watch over these important points. Gladly to tell that this club is free-entrance.

Finally, we're behind the famous icon of La Favela
Second, I could really feel the nightlife atmosphere and the smell was like persuading me to get closer. Inside, I was really amazed by the building design. It used vintage concept. This concept is actually inspired by the jungles of Bali. I also saw the antique furnitures and other random stuffs assembled in this club. Furthermore, I went up stairs to its famous icon. I could tell that I didn’t want to miss this moment! I took some photos in front of Christ the Redeemer sculpture. It’s was so crazy. Don’t worry, we also still can enjoy the live-music and keep dancing in every floor.

Last but not least, I really love the songs playlist and its partying arena. It’s super magical. I firstly started dancing even I haven’t done it yet previously. This club’s DJ seemed hypnotising me to dance. This was because the songs playlist were quite familiar and he was also excellent to remix the songs.

In conclusion, Bali absolutely offers so many nightlife hotspots, but La Favela is the craziest and most magical ones. Being impressed by its building design and DJ experienced me to an indescribable nightlife. You should try it!

Bali offers super sophisticated bars and clubbing hotspots particularly along Seminyak Road. My first option goes to Motel Mexicola. It's a colourful and quirky Mexican bar and restaurant located in Jalan Petitenget, Seminyak. It's quite famous and highly visited by a lot of influencers; therefore, by going here is the only way to satisfy my curiosity.

My first impression towards this bar ; I really fall in love 😍

My friends and I were at the lobby. Look! there're photos-display behind.
Due to it's my first time to visit this place, I was really amazed by the building-design looked from the outside. It's so vibrant, simple but looks glamorous. Before going inside, I got security-check to make sure that everything was secure. Let us explore this place. Firstly, in the lobby, there's a photo display that describes reputable people and it's also beautified by various flowers and neon-light. Hence, it is also good for photo-spot. Don't worry, this restaurant still offers so many fantastic spots. Next, I walked into the middle spot or courtyard. This spot serves as the main partying arena where I could order some food and drink and also enjoy live-music. For your information, I highly suggest you guys to come at night because it offers the best night-club ever! Moreover, I finally ordered Maracas; a passion fruit with cinnamon sugar, and lime and also ordered fish taco. It looks so fresh and is a good companion to talk with our friends. Don't be afraid! the price is better than other bars in Bali; it's affordable.

Maracas on the right side

After enjoying several recommended menus, my friends and I couldn't wait to explore into another spot in order to capture a good moment. I finally found an aesthetic spot; it's in the middle between the stairs. In my opinion, it's an icon of this restaurant. People dominantly use this spot to capture a good moment. In conclusion, I can tell that I do really falling in love with every corner in this restaurant. Everything looks so beautiful. I hopefully have more opportunities to visit this place again.

“I sparkle my enlightenment through words” Dem

Life was not easy after I got married with a man who killed off my dream, but let me tell the story from the start.

Bogota was the city where I was born and raised. I was well-off , because my father was the owner of a cotton field. He had many slaves working there. I had read philosophy and was dreaming of a missionary.

One night, my mother came to my room to have a serious talk with me.

"I don't allow you to become a missionary," she said . In fact, she asked me to marry a stranger.
"But, Mother, it's not the time for me to marry!"

At the end, I could not refuse my mother's order. She was always strict with me. In the morning, when I was with my father overseeing the field, I saw a man in a black coat and white tie riding a horse, approaching us.

"Papa, can I go to inside? I want to take a break for awhile."

"Sure, mi corazón," he answers, continuing to supervise the slave.

The horse-rider approached my father. Soon after, my father invited him inside.

"Teresa, your man is coming," my mom told me. "I want you to welcome him."

I didn't want to meet Mr. Frankenstein, although he looked like a noble and had a good manners. He told me that he owned a tobacco field, and promised that we would get settle down comfortably. I could not believe that a stranger would become my future husband, but I had no choice.

The bells tolled, and the church was filled with beautiful flowers. I stood in a magnificent white wedding dress, while the priest blessed us. Mr. Frankenstein and I exchanged vows and rings. It was the start of my new life. I forced my myself to love my husband with all my heart.

I never received a penny from him, even though he had a lot of money. He demanded me to prepare delicious meal and have it ready as soon as he returned from his tobacco field in the evening. Everyday I served food, cleaned the house, and washed his clothes, but he was never satisfied. I felt like living in a prison. One day, he forced me to work among the other slaves.

I tried to escape, but my husband like a wolf who kept its prey close. One night, when he was sleeping soundly after a binge, I went out from the house. I ran under the moonlight to Uncle Terry's house and told him of my predicaments over a cup of tea. He was shocked and disappointed. The following morning, he took me back to my parent's plantation. My parents were upset, and took me back him.

One day, Mr. Frankenstein came to our house and asked me to return. I was not afraid of him anymore, so I told him that I would like to focus on my old dream.

"Teresa, I promise, I will treat you better ."

"No, I make my own choice now, and it's not you," I sad. With that, I sent him away.

Uncle Terry who's a Catholic priest, invited me to join him in mission trip in Africa. This time, my mother allowed me to go. I was overjoyed. There, I taught at a local school named Star Academy, which had illiterate children.

I decided myself for this school for almost two years. Finally, our mission was up, and my uncle told me to pack. However, I did not want to leave this village. I decided to stay on and teach at Star Academy. It felt good to make another massive choice of my own.

I also raised fun to build a bigger and more modern school building, so that the village children could learn well. I was happy because I could achieve my dream of becoming a missionary, and it helped me to forget my past. I believed that we were born into this world with the right of dreaming, but sometimes we needed it to pass rocky paths first before achieving it.
